About Me

This experience helped me to learn and understand how sales process works, how the buyers' behaviour is formed, what are the pillars of psychology in sales and marketing. I learned how to convince customers, how to present my services and products and how to differentiate myself from my competitors.

I started my own company in the industry of international cargo forwarding and logistics when I was 26 years old. To start my own business and to run it successfully I had to go through a lot of challenges, learning by doing, experimenting, planning, strategizing, failing and getting up and on again. It was a great journey of ups and downs, long days and nights of work, excitement, fears, failures, victories, and wins.

After 10 years of successful work in the logistics industry, I had to make a very hard decision to quit. Our revenues were dramatically affected by the international sanctions against Russia and I had to close offices in three countries, fire the people, and sell the rest of the business. It felt like it was the end of my life. Everything that I had built during 10 years, everything that I had dedicated my days and nights crashed and my world was breaking in pieces. It felt like a tragedy. Really. I appreciate having had this experience in my life a lot! I am convinced that what makes you a really strong and successful person is not the number of your victories, but your resilience and your ability to get up and succeed again after you have failed.

It took me a year to work on my self-reflection, traveling around the world, reading, meditating, and thinking about how could I leave a positive impact in this world and how could I help societies to make people's lives better. All the roads of my thinking process have led me to education. I made the best decision in my life - to change my professional path and to dedicate myself to the education of myself and others. I also decided to improve my living conditions by moving to another country with a better climate. This is how I found myself in Barcelona - one of the best cities in the world! But with the excitement there also came challenges. I had to learn a new language from zero, I had to integrate into a new culture, and different environment, and learn how to appreciate different views of life, open my mind to new perspectives, and question my own beliefs and limitations.

I opened my new company again in a totally new industry for me. And educational platform and e-commerce. In my 40-ies I started learning and practicing on my own business the concepts of digital marketing, search engine optimization tools, e-commerce, psychology of online sales and marketing, social media marketing, and other aspects of the e-commerce business online. I learned that it is never too late or too early to change your life and start doing something new! Everything is possible if your mind is open to it. The mindset is key!
